Asgard Order of Attacks - Our Guild Groups
It is my personal goal as the guild master to help inform and grow all members in all game modes of Hero Wars. To be fair and aid others in their ascension. I humbly request my members to follow a loose order of attack on all Asgard bosses each week.
To help ensure the maximum personal and guild rewards please take note of which group you are in, and which day you are able to attack. Disregard the level of the boss, and stick to the order and day assigned.
Members who are not active in each game mode regularly are considered for removal from the guild. (In other words, missing your day/slot to attack and causing others to wait unnecessarily for several weeks in a row, may result in your removal from our guild, as it does not contribute to our great teamwork and therefore success as a guild.)
Naochan, Gabriel, DragonLady, Roll
Noko, Lobes, Chaos, Tithub, TigersontheRoad, Lucie, wings-pc, Shipwreck, Stany
AndrePendragon, Meta, Tornado, Firi, Arachne, Titan9T, Anubis, HowlinMan, Shadow, Necro, 3rnrb, Ronin, Pestratte
Fas, Gagiman, Ryzen, Kryptik
New to our guild? Check the 'wars' list of members and put yourself in the group that is most similar to the above members ^. This page will be updated approximately once a month, after Hero Tournaments.
Note: We may also use these groups and the group names to coordinate movements in AoC, or strategically call for member actions during key events.
Timezone Notes
Example: I'm in group two, so I need to be ready to attack Thursday evening if Group 1 finishes. Otherwise, my Friday morning (PDT), I should be good to attack as it will be Friday afternoon via game clock to attack in group 2 as I am assigned.
Notes on details for clarity:
Do I have to go in order within my group?
No, if everyone in group 1 has gone already, then group 2 can start attacking immediately.
However, Chaos doesn't have to wait for me, noko and Lobes to attack first. If everyone has gone in group 1, anyone from Group 2 can attack. However, no one from group 3 or 4 can attack until every member from group 2 has gone or, it is late Saturday evening.
I noticed that someone only used 3/5 attacks, should we wait for them to finish to move to the next group?
No! As long as they have attacked at least once, you can count them towards progression as a group. It is wise to save your most powerful teams for the correct power level bosses to help defeat them.
If you KNOW your best 1-2 teams will kill lower bosses too early, please hold your attacks for a different boss level. <-- be smart team players, the goal is to progress through as many bosses *as we can* and to allow for everyone to receive individual rewards, as well as guild rewards in the process
If members from group 4 attack too early, what are the consequences? It's not like you'll remove our best members?
I will if they are not of benefit to the whole guild. Teamwork is our key to success. One account's power numbers do not make a guild. So, just like anyone who doesn't hit, those who hit out of turn will be warned and guided to this page for the order of attacks. Should they fail to wait for their group or day, then once they have received three direct warnings, they will be removed from our guild.
If members don't want to play in this mode, can they opt out?
No lol, but you can opt out of the guild at any time if we aren't the right fit. There are less active guilds.
This is an extremely important game mode due to its rewards being for ascension skill progression. This is an important way to improve your heroes and, therefore, your teams for use in the guild. Choosing to ignore certain aspects of this game will be your downfall, and I'd rather you experiment with that is some other, more careless guild. The majority of our members are growing, learning, and developing their heroes, teams, and are doing so across all of these game modes.
If I know I'm not going to be available during the assigned day, what should I do?
You should let us know in guild chat that you'll be gone this week, and to skip you in order. Feel free to pm the gm too. (Just don't make it the norm.) If you miss your group day, you can always attempt attacks in groups higher (after) your own group. Groups 2 and 3 are not so different in power. Neither are Groups 3 or 4. Note that you can attack early if just 1-2 people from the group or if you know this boss is the right level for you.
I'm the exception that will never be able to do it on the assigned day, though....
Message me. Will move you into a group in which the day is one in which you can attack.
Is it helpful, if the last people from any group send a message in chat to give the go-ahead to the next group?
YES, please do this! If you are the last person to attack (check log) in your group please make a message stating: "Group 1 for gr boss complete! Group 2 open for boss attacks!" Anyone can do this, as long as its true :) this will encourage our teamwork to progress as quickly as possible from group 1-4 over 2-3 days.
How'd you come up with the groups/see power?
Go to clash war page. Top left see "Guild Members" button. I started at the bottom of the list, and worked my way up the list. Noting the current Hero Power and grouped members together. Therefore, members may move groups occasionally. This page will be updated about once a month, after Hero Tournaments.
Why don't we just put it at the highest level and let the heavy hitters hit exclusively?
Everyone but about the top 5 out of 30 players would recieve the majority of the rewards. The others would not receive invidual damage rewards. Therefore, would recieve much less asscension rewards. Therefore, would not be able to recieve rewards or benefits from as many ascension skills. Therefore, the higher powered players would reap all the benefits increasing their power, while the lower powered players remained at the bottleneck, unable to progress pass increasing choke points in the game. We progress as a team, we win as a team.
