Tips and Heroes to Use Against Maestro, a Guild Raid Boss

This is (IMO) the most difficult game mode in Hero Wars Dominion and is most successfully played in manual mode with unique buffs to aid the progress. Rewards are both individual and guild-wide.

Use manual play to defeat Maestro. Use keys 1-5 for hero abilities, A to toggle autoplay, and W to switch between worlds.

If you are not battling the highest-level boss and it is early in the weekend, start with your least powerful team first

Keeping your best teams for the highest level boss version you can. Note that after one level boss is defeated, the new leveled boss will spawn for attacks immediately.

You can not choose the same hero twice.
This requires you to prepare 5 teams before contending with Meastro.

The features of this boss require each team to have healers and control mages to defeat his harp and horn. Area damage effects will work well in the astral.

It is very common for the first three nearest tanks/warriors in your frontline to become stunned. To un-stun them, they need to be healed. Effectively, healing is only possible in the material world.

Deal as much magic, pure, and area damage as you can in the astral world.

Go to the material world to heal. Reserve your timing to heal until/if your heroes become stunned.

E Tier: Heroes that deal mass damage or have control effects, but deliver physical damage. Heroes that fail to utilize their damage output or abilities effectively in this game mode.

F Tier: Heroes that only benefit physical damage-dealing teams, or fail to incorporate their team partners to be effective in this game mode, mostly due to being physical damage dealers that lack control or healing.

Which Heroes to Choose for Teams Against Maestro

You need to choose a minimum of 5 healers to feature in 5 different teams.

Full healers: Dorian, Martha, Thea, Markus, Guus
Hybrid healers: Aiden, Lara Croft, Mojo, Celeste, Morrigan, Alvanor
Self healers that deal magic damage: ... Arachne

You need to choose a minimum of 5-10 heroes with control effects to dispel the harp in 5 different teams.

Heroes with control effects that primarily deal magic or pure damage: Arachne, Orion, Augustus, Krista, Lars, Peppy, Darkstar, Daredevil, Jorgen, Isaac

Heavy control, pure or magic damage dealers: Heidi, Mushy, Lyria, Corvus, Polaris, Sebastian, Iris, Amira

Who not to use... DUN DUN DUN

The following heroes may not be the best options in this game mode due to them being physical damage dealers that do not heal, nor do they have control effects, therefore reducing their effectiveness to deal any real damage.

  • Dante, Qing Mao, Jhu, Kiera, Sebastian, Astaroth, Julius, Nebula, Cleaver

The following heroes may have control effects that could be useful, but primarily deal physical damage and therefore will not be as effective as other heroes in this game mode:

  • Fox, Ginger, Astrid, Artimus, Ishmeal, Yasmine
