Hero Wars in Dominion Guild Tips

This is a general page of tips for any player that is in the guild. At the bottom of this page, will be notes specific to the guild that I run and will be updated regularly.

Daily Tasks

There are a few things that you can do every day that help any guild:

  • Gather Titanite by trading in extra equipment, using energy in the campaign, and updating a glyph on heroes
  • If you are a signet member of a guild, and you are featured in the Guild War, BE SURE TO MAKE ATTACKS
  • If you are not sure you can win the fight, create a battle to practice in the Combat Training area! (That's what it's for!)
  • Keep your top 5-10 heroes updated and cared for, you should focus on them more than any other heroes (those you feature in Guild War, Clash of World, and the Grand Arena!)
  • Check your Guild's Chat for tips, resources, and information that may be relevant
  • Use all of your Divination Cards every day in the Titan Tower! Level up your Titans daily (but don't spend spheres or summons unless an event is going on)
Honestly, the most important thing is to spend energy on campaigns and to complete the Titan Tower every day.

Hero Goals

Late Game Prepping
You want to keep two things in mind for late-game play: preparing for Osh and Maestro

Choose heroes that can be used in both modes later on. (Even if these heroes are not featured in your top 5-15 right now. You'll want to get those heroes, get their stars up, and prepare for them to be utilized later on. (Don't spend money on them unless/until you use them!)

Counting Counters
You need to have at least 2-3 heroes that are not featured or favored, but are available for use in overcoming difficulties. These could be: Celeste, Jet, Helios, Phobos, Lilith, Folio, Nebula, Sebastian (among others). You'll need to come up with strategies that your primary heroes can utilize as needed. Perhaps you don't feature Helios in your defense, but you'll still want him to throw in there to overcome any/all critical hit teams you come across. The new Lyria hero is the best option for overcoming dodge teams, etc.

Preparing for War
Talk to your DM about your team, and ways to improve it. Seeking ways for the guild as a whole to be more successful. And all members as valued fighters by being resourceful, sharing information often, and supporting each other through learning together. Offer advice freely and kindly make corrections so everyone can improve their experience with the game.

Your DM may need a balance of colored teams for Titans. Even if you don't yet have a totem, you should choose a color to focus on (as if you do have a totem). Choose 3 titans of the same color, then choose 2 dark or 2 light titans and focus on them at least 10 levels (if not more) above all other titans. All other titans should be the same level and fairly equal power/investment. Spending most resources on your primary titan team (5 titans).
