Great Storm Event Tips for Pet Upgrades

 There are a few tips I have for those who are new to the Great Storm Event. These events happen semi-regularly. It's a pretty simple event.

You'll want to stay around the edge of the storm. Collect Buffs, Chests, and destroy Becons. 

If there is a star/battle on a point that does not contain a chest, it's okay to skip them. But do not skip the majority of them, though. You want to go around and collect power to allow yourself to get closer to the storm in the final days of the event. (Ever played Minesweeper on the computer? If so, these skills will help identify where chests are.) You cannot get chests that at are in the inner ring of the storm, skill them until your power is well over 100. 

Strategize which purchases you need for pets before you buy any Pet-Gems. 

Focus on one pet during this event and get it to at least Blue Rank so that it can become a hero's patron in any battles. Then, focus on another pet until it is blue rank. Until you have at least three blue pets for Grand Arena and guilds. Consider ranking pets that have multiple stars, even if they are not your main pet so that they can become patrons for your heroes within the lineup. 

Repeat: Getting pets to blue rank is important, so that they can become a Patron for your heroes in the lineup.

Adventure Tips

Get through the highest difficulty adventure you can, and invite guild members to help you responsibly collect all chests. Raid this one adventure as many times as you can (leaving 3 points to help other guild members pass through their adventures). RAID RAID RAID. 

Outside of events like this, generally speaking, this is why people hold onto their adventure portal points... RAID! Then... you'll have more pets to summon and more pet power points to work with...

Summon Pets! 

Any and all summons you have saved up can be used to get rewards during this event. 

Unless this event is occurring, its always a good idea NOT to summon pets generally speaking, unless an event like this is occurring! 

Pet Power

Use Pet Power to increase Gem Power (not to buy gems! Use the storm merchant to get the gems you need!) 

Level up your gems, and get gems into the slots for your top three pets. 

Purchase gems that you will need in the future by looking at the Pets Items. 

Recommended Pets: 

Vex - for any physical damage team 

Merlin - for any magic team 

Khorus - for control, protection from control, and benefits high high-intelligence heroes 

Oliver or Axel - for protection from damage 

Albus - for any high pure damage team 

Mara - for control teams (stunnrs, silencers, etc) 

Final Tips

During this event, you should focus on pets rather than titans or heroes. Take note of your best heroes and which pets are their patrons. Focus on getting those pets to blue rank. (Often times a Titan event will follow shortly after this one, do NOT spend upgrades on Titans or artifacts until then, or unless a quests asks you to....)
